Centerpoint’s Midwest Cancer Care is staffed by chemotherapy- and oncology-certified nurses. Our staff is known for its skilled oncology care, delivered with a high degree of compassion and understanding. In addition to general oncology, Centerpoint Medical Center’s staff has a particular expertise in caring for patients with lung and gastrointestinal cancers, as well as in meeting the unique needs of patients suffering complications of chemotherapy.

Breast Diagnostics and Imaging
The Breast Center at Centerpoint Medical Center provides some of the most advanced diagnostic procedures available for breast cancer. The center complements its digital mammography services with additional diagnostic procedures such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the breast and breast ultrasound – all to provide the most thorough evaluation possible of breast conditions. The Breast Center offers women access to innovative biopsy techniques, including less invasive stereotactic and image-guided procedures. And for peace of mind and comfort, Centerpoint Medical Center’s nurse navigator leads the patient through the entire process from initial diagnostic procedures through surgery, if needed, and into recovery.
